Tubing heads are constructed with a straight bowl profile to accept the popular range of industry standard tubing hangers. These hangers include wrap around hangers, mandrel hangers, and extended neck hangers.
Tubing heads are usually a spool with double-flanged ends. They are placed on the top flange of a casing head to hang tubing hangers and to seal the annular space between the tubing string and intermediate casing and consists of the tubing head spool and a tubing hanger.
