Lubricator risers are used to allow the wireline tool string to rise above the wellhead valve both before and after wireline operations. This tool enables the wellhead valve to be opened and closed, allowing entry and exit from the well bore.
Lubricators stack above a wireline valve and hold a tool string before it is inserted into the well. They are available in various lengths to ensure full support of the entire length of tool string. It is comprised of two sections placed on either side of the lubricator tube and fastened together with bolts.
